What is Georgia's Pre-K Program?

 Georgia’s Pre-K Program is a state lottery funded educational program for all age eligible four-year-old children in Georgia. The purpose of Georgia’s Pre-K Program is to prepare children for success in Kindergarten and later school years.

Pre-K FAQs

*What is the age requirement to enroll in Georgia's Pre-K program?

 Student must be four years of age on or before Sept. 1st of the enrolling year.

*Does my child have to attend every day?

 Yes, your child will need to attend on a regular & consistent basis. Poor attendance, late arrivals and early pickups could result in your child losing his/her spot.

*Does GA Pre-K have a supply list?

 No. Supplies for pre-k are provided within the grant. Teachers may request donations throughout the year. However, the requests are not required. You will receive information from your child's teacher at Orientation.
